Delegates from the 21 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) economies gathered today at the Lima Convention Center (LCC) to participate in the conferences and workshops in the context of the First Senior Officials’ Meeting and Related Meetings (SOM 1).

On this date, discussions centered around pressing issues within the chemical industry, investment, and effective project management.

Ana María Choquehuanca, Peru’s Minister of Production, inaugurated the “Salón de la MYPE – APEC 2024” (Micro and Small Business Hall – APEC 2024). This space will provide a commercial platform for micro and small enterprises at APEC Peru 2024 to showcase their products and creativity on the global stage.

Renato Reyes, Peru’s Senior Official to APEC, and Gladys Yanarico Borda, a leading figure in micro and small business promotion and management, also attended the event.
